BREAKING THE ANGLE
Day Three (Tactic 1/2)

Quick Facts

Status
Fundamental Movement.

Objective
To adjust the angle of your base, without compromising the balance of your Survival Stance. This will allow you to quickly re-adjust the angle of your stance so that you always face your attacker (and prevent him/her from getting behind you). You can also use this tactic to remove yourself from the direct path of an oncoming attack.

Timing
Break your angle whenever necessary to face your attacker or break the angle if you can preemptively step off of the path of an oncoming attack.

Step 3 (Right)

To break your angle to your Right from the Right Survival Stance, pivot on the ball of your front foot and rotate your body X number of degrees (whatever is needed in a real scenario) to the Right, and complete the movement by landing your Rear foot back into your Survival Stance.
